In Jyotish, Venus (Shukra) is a significator of marriage and partnership, and also of comfort, art and luxury. Its sign shows the style of what you value and its house shows where in life you go looking for it. Its Dasha is the longest in the Vimshottari sequence, at twenty years, and often coincides with a period in which relationships, money or aesthetics become central.
